-====== CERN-CP2K GSoC 2018 ideas page ======
-We would like to engage new young developers who want to bring new ideas for improving specific parts of the code. In general, students must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Our GSoC projects do not require any physics and chemistry knowledge, while it is mandatory to have knowledge of high performance computing technology:

-* MPI and OpenMP parallelization
-* CUDA programming
-* C++, and Python
-* Collaborative tools (SVN and GIT)
-* Compilation methods (cmake)
-
-It is also required a knowledge of Fortran programming language. Overall, you are the perfect match for this position if you have enthusiasm for software optimization. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential alongside the ability to collaborate with peers and research teams.
-We encourage students to read our docs and webpages and then get in contact with us about their interests and explain their project ideas as early as possible. Please do not forget to provide us with some relevant information about yourself (for example CV, past projects, personal page or blog,  Github account, etc.).
